all i can say is i have a buddy who has a 225 gallon. has 6 different tangs in there all different sizes. plus another 10 fish including clowns angels mandrines etc and everything gets along very very well and every thing is happy. It depends on the fish and everything but i would say yes they will get along fine.

I've always heard that different "shaped" tangs from different families are usually compatible. If you keep the same type, then there can be some potential for aggression. I've further heard that if you go with the same type, it's good to keep in odd numbers. When I say "heard" it means I have read that somewhere along the line.
