Anyone know if a Naso and a Tomini Tang will co-exist with out an issue. I have a 120 with about 140lbs of live rock. 20 gallon sump/fuge with cheato. Right now I have a Tomini Tang, small Sailfin Tang, 2 false perc clowns, a six line and a bar goby.

My naso co-exists well with my chevron tang in my 120.

Checked the temperament, both are peaceful, (tomini and chevron) I would assume they would get along well. just make sure they are about the same size IMO. and that the naso is eating well before purchasing... They can be a tad hard to acclimate to aquarium life sometimes.

3 1/2 now... Was about 2 1/2 when I got him 2 months ago! Him and my achilles are best of buds... My chevron is barely 1 1/2. But they all get along just fine.

Naso's are the most peaceful fish I have found. Mine eats out of my hand daily.

You won't have any issues with the tomini and naso getting along.

Only issues I can think of are the naso will outgrow a 4' tank eventually.

ummm tomini tangs that have been in a tank for a while CAN POSSIBLY still be aggressive towards newly introduced tangs.. a friend of mine just introduced a blue tang after a tomini tang and the tomini tang was beating up the blue tang so bad my friend had to remove the blue tang and bring it back to an LFS. tomini tangs are peaceful, but they are quite aggressive after they feel like they have established a territory.. with a 4 footer, you might have problems.. 6 feet+, maybe not, but you never know, it can also work out for you, good luck

With any critter in this hobby, there is always a slight chance of issues, even if they are not even supposed to act that way ever.

I have seen more cases of purple tangs eating corals than you could imagine. But you never see a PT listed as "with caution" for reef safety.

I wasn't going to comment on the naso getting 18" long eventually. ;)

Thanks Guys! K+ To all. The Naso is one of my favorite fish and I had one before but not since I've had the Tomini. I do plan to do another tank in my basement that's bigger then the 120 so if size becomes an issue I can use this as my excuse to excelerate that process. ;-)
