    Okay so I woke up this morning and my naso was fine, swimming aroud and ate. I checked 4 hours later, dead. ***??? Params are fine

    Sorry to hear.

    Please list the parameters, there may be something in them that is wrong.

    How long had you had the tang and how large was it? What size tank do you have? What are the other residents of the tank?

    I'm not a hocus pocus kind of person but do you gave a grounding rod? Could it have been stray current?

    3" for 3 wk. 90g tank. One clown one hippo.

    Params: ammon 0. Nitrates/ites 0. pH 8.2. Alk is fine

    alk is fine? where would it be at and your mag, SG also how ofter where you feeding him? sorry for your lose

    It's a grounding probe, not rod, sorry. It's a probe thats grounded to the outlet like you would ground the alernator etc on a car. It makes sure that any stray voltage from the electronics in the tank doesnt fry your fish or shock you when you stick your hand in the tank.

    when you say 1 clown 1 hippo...is that 1 clown-fish or 1 clown tang?..and hippos/regals can be assassins... esp 2 bigger type tangs (possibly 3) in a 90g...ur askin for trouble.. if ur gonna want to keep 2 tangs instead of another Naso...get a bristletooth species such as a Kole, or a tomini...something that doesnt get too big..

    not measuring mag, dont have corals yet. i have an api alk test and its right where it should be. once a day they are fed

    one clown fish (other died of brook), and one blue hippo tang. i introduced naso and blue hippo at same time, and they were the same size
