    Electricity is looking for ground. It will take the fastest route to ground. By using a grounding probe, you will cause any possible stray voltage to not "roam" your tank, and instead get out immediately.

    And no matter what anyone says, wood can conduct electricity...so can rubber. :)

    No I would say your LFS is if they sold you either of those fish for a 90 gallon tank. You have to remember most LFS make money selling fish. It is to there benefit to do so at the expense of the fish.(not all mind you) You are better of doing your own research as to the care and requirements of the animals you purchase.3Reef is a good place to start for that.;)

    Thier job is to sell fish, sometime you run into people/stores that dont care about anything else. I have a pretty good LFS but I still trust nothing they say without independent research.
