ok so I got to look at my tank with the lights off(I have blue LEDS) and I was using a flashlights to spot varius pods...and I notice one of my nassarius on the glass(I have seen them out before at night so no big deal) and I realize theres a trail of little clear sacks with white dots that the snail seems to be leaving, is it laying eggs, I have four of them, none more then a half inch long, figured theyd be bigger before they did that...think any will live, I have my livestock in my sig. dunno if any of them will wipe out the little guys when they hatch...

While I don't know what you have, I can say that I just looked at my tank and noticed that I have the same thing. Mine are little clear sacs with 5-8 white eggs inside. I have Nassarius snails as well, but I'm thinking they could also be copepod eggs.

I just looked them up on google images and they are indeed nassarius eggs, check them out on there and see if they match yours, the sacks are large then a copepod, or close to the size of one...that was my thought at first till I saw the trail following the snail and put 2 and 2 together, my isopods are also reproducing(seeing more and more, fish like eating them)but I think they lay eggs in the rocks or something cause I havent seen them...I had a bunch of copepods till the clowns found them, Im sure there are some on the rocks and sand but the ones on the glass were picked off in a day or two...

from what i have read they probably wont survive, also these are standard nassarius which appearently dont get much larger, the tongans are the larger ones from what I read at least, I guess if they hatch then the larval stage takes a long time and thats when they get eaten, of filtered...so we'll see, cool to watch happen w/e does happen though
