    Oh yes I almost forgot, I wanted to ask if I should clean out my canister filter? The inside has ehfimech ceramics, blue and white filter pads in it.

    I have had a problem with keeping snails in my tank and when they die off my nitrates go way up as evidenced on test strips and my skimmer. I always take them out of my tank. They smell 10 times worse than any rotting fish.

    Yup they ate my panther grouper. The grouper was hurt they hopped on him and was eating him alive. quarantine was too late. They also keep the sand bed from getting solid.
