Nassurius snail rescue!...maybe?

Hello, thought I'd share this kind of weird happening. I had five nerite snails well 4 died so I just left the shells in the tank, might get a crab who knows right? One of my nassurius snails decided it need to check out the inside of one, long story short I watched him for a couple of days I thought he was stuck after all the nerite had been dead a while there couldn't be anything left to eat. So I took out the shell put it on a cut board and took a meat beater and lightly hammered it! At first I thought it was too hard, but the shell on the nassurius looked ok so I dropped it back into the tank, it wasn't five minutes and that sucker was cruzing all over the tank, I feel like my hammer was the jaws of life, lol, good reefing to ya!!!!
