Nasty Bad Acro Crab Caught!!!

    Well I finally caught this guy tonight unintentionally. I have been noticing my sps with fresh eaten tips lately. Been pretty damn upset over it :angry:.

    Now Im releived. I was moving some rock and I saw half his body sticking out. I quickly removed the rock and pulled the S.O.B. out. What a great feeling.

    Ive always thought he was a good one in the past, he was much smaller and looked like a good one when I purchased an acro colony earlier this year. Well after seeing fresh eating tips and some research on acro crabs I knew he was done.

    Crazy I caught him like this after nights with a red flashlight on the tank with no success. Now its all over :)

    Hes hairy and has some nasty looking claws.

    ship him to me, he would make a nice meal for my puffer, all id have to do is chop off his claws then hes a gourmet meal :D

    I cant fit anything else in my tank ;D. 3reef wouldnt know that yet. Wait til my tank thread Part 2 is released in spring time ;)

    would be cool to see this guy slaughtered naturally.

    Yea... its terrible. these guys are nasty. becareful on what crabs you may see in an acro colony. be sure if you see a crab that it is a beneficial one. There are good crabs that are hitch hiked on colonies.
