Nasty hitchhikers...watch out!

    So I went out and picked up a two new Zoa colonies for the tank today. After giving them a fresh water dip I gave them a thorough check while drip aclimating them and pulled off 3 sundial snails from one of them. The camera is dead(will try and snap a shot later when the battery is up again) but trust me, you do NOT want these things in your tank. They feed on Zoas and can tear through them quickly. They also can and will reproduce in your system causing further issues down the line.

    Just a reminder to keep an eye on anything going into your tank!

    Yes you can get good and bad hitchhikers .. Most of the time BAD.. LOL

    Its unfortunate they are predatory little bastards, because they really are kinda pretty.
