    I had my tank in front of my bedroom window for about 5 months (now in a different part of the room). In the 3 and 1/2 years that Ive had my tank, this was the only time I had an algea problem. However, growth on the few corals that I have was incredible. Once I moved the tank out of the sunlight, their growth slowed ...and the algea stopped.
