8)This skimmer looks like a great one. Anyone have one? I would love to hear about it.

I work a store called "Planet Fish" and we carry one of these. It has not sold in a year or so, for good reasons. It's made out of CHEAP quality plastic, instead of a ball valve to control the level in the skimmer, they give you a crappy little gate valve. It's a peice, and not worth your time.

Hey wolf, I saw on swf you were looking for a different pump. Are you having problems now?

I went from a rio 2100 to a rio 2500 and it started working much better. I have recently purchased a reef devil sump and skimmer and started using it and the reef devil skimmer seems to work much better than the Nautilus.

    Wow ... been a while.

I've never seen the reef devil, maybe you can start a thread on it and post a pic.

    Welcome back Wolffvet!

    :)

Thanks for the welcome back! I have been so busy that I have had hardly any time on the computer to do anything other than work. I plan on posting a lot more often and hope to have some good pics of my tank once I get it set up in its new location. I am looking into upgrading my lights from just PC to a combo of MH and PC or MH and VHO. I was thinking 2 250 watt MH and 2 140 watt super actinic VHOS would do nicely on my 100 gallon. The only other thing i need is about another 75 lbs of nice live rock

Is a cool name, I recognize it now that I see it, that's a downdraft skimmer.
Sounds like a good plan Wolffvet.. I can relate to the busy thing... these guys around here have me working pretty hard! :)
