I figured PufferChick may be interested in this tank, it's my 20G puffer tank. It houses 2 juvenile Green Spotted Puffers.

    Equipment

    1. 20 gallon long tank.
    2. Marineland Bio-Wheel 125
    3. Tetra 50w Heater
    4. ZooMed combination reptile light. (Dual mogul base, and 18" T8 fixture) Currently suspended from shelving brackets.j
    Decor:

    1. Several fake rocks and wood.
    2. A LOT of fake plants for them to play in.
    3. Playsand substrate.
Here's how it currently looks. I plan on redecorating it as soon as my 12G nano is taken care of.

Here is a bad picture of one of my cute little guys.

All the previous picture were taken with just the fluorescent light on. This picture was taken with just 1 additional 29w CF bulb.

Hopefully this tank will only temporarily be the puffer's home. I'm trying to pick up something a little larger for them like a 29 or 37, so that I drop this one to the bottom level of my metal stand, and become a frag/hospital tank.

I used to have 3, and they were both aggressive toward the 3rd one who was sick from the day I got him. I didn't realize he was sick until later on, but after he eventually died, these 2 calmed down and they are quite adorable how they play and live together. That tree in the middle is hollow on the inside and at night they both swim inside to sleep. Every morning I wake up and I get worried they went carpet surfing, and then they slowly and grogily they swim out to greet me.

They have splashed the surface a couple times, never actually jumped, but I've heard of them jumping which get's me scared they will jump.

These guys are pretty small as well. 1.5" at best, and still live in a low salinity (1.005) so that may have something to do with their temperament.

I love that piece of driftwood decore you have in your tank, I bet they love swimming around and through it.

ohhh ok their just babies then. My guy LOVES the fake driftwood once i took it out to replace it with something different and he tottally stressed out! as soon as i took it out his belly became pitch black for an entire day then i put the driftwood back in, then he was fine. He loves to sit on the ledges its funny to see him do it, it will be interesting to see how he reacts to base rock.

Are yours picky eaters, Puff has always been an extremly picky eater but very hardy and healthy, never any issues with him, another thing is that he's extremely camera shy he does not like the camera one bit so its impossible to get a pic of him

Not in the slightest. They love everything. I primarily feed them freeze-dried red shrimp, but on occasion they get frozen krill treat.

They don't mind the camera, but they move very quickly and make it quite difficult to get a picture of them with a crappy point and shoot. The tank is right next to my desk, and they get very excited to see me sit down at it. They come flying over to the corner of the tank and just stare at me.

It's probably because mine a little pigs. You should really try the frozen shrimp, they go CRAZY for them. They also love snails. I get a couple dozen baby snails from a LFS who see them as pests in their tanks. I just let them crawl around in the tank and they pick at them whenever they like.
