Funny I just started upping the salinity of my puffer & dragon/violet goby tank to take them to full marine.
The puffer even swims to the side I added the salt water to...I guess he likes it.

My puffers do the same, and I'm starting to get excited about the fact that salinitiy is finally starting to reach marine strength. Then all the fun of adding CUC and other marine stuff begins!

    Funny.
Spots stress marks have been going away too, I thought it was the other fish in the tank being such aggressive eaters and for his food too (he's a wuss).

Good luck with CUC, though on the link you provided I saw that one person's puffer would eat FW snails but not marine snails so I'm hoping Spot will leave them alone too or no CUC for me (he loves snails and shrimp).

Can't wait to see them with corals and such in the tank.

They love snails, but only if I kill them for them. I haven't seen them attack a live snail yet. I think that I've made them to lazy with all the freeze dried food I give them that doesn't try to run away. lol

Lucky you I don't have a lazy one and he'll hunt for food if I didn't give him what he considers enough or if he's hungry between meals. He's a piggy loves his easy frozen meals too.

Minor update. Today was tank maintenance day, and they got their filter changed, minor tank cleaning and their water topped off. Added the last of my bag of salt and i'm happy to announce that the SG is up to 1.01! I'm going to buy another bag of salt, and start double the doses (1 cup instead of 1/2) in hopes of hitting marine SG before I move.
