    Hey folks,

As some of you know, I've been struggling with a nano (15 gallons of water volume about) and dosing.

I was using a I.V. to drip freshwater that was mixed with kalk and seachem reef builder for alk.

The I.V. would clog causes sometimes, causing water to drop and algae to bloom. And other times, loosen dumping paste into the tank, turning it white and sometimes going right on corals. (no more xenia)

So I laid down the bucks for a Tunze Osmomot with the optional calcium dispenser.

After some setup troubles (thank you Roger for the help) it has been working like a dream. Water level is constant, algae way down, and it delivers kalk like it is supposed too. No more white tank.

I also switched from the seachem powder to kent Marine Pro Buffer dKH liquid. It's been fantastic and easy to apply.

Most of my corals are loving life now, my hammer has 2 new heads, leather is getting huge, ricordia swelling, zoos spreading, etc..

    SO HERE'S MY QUESTIONS!

My bird's nest, which prior to dosing disasters, was branching out, has turned yellow except for the tips which are still white and fuzzy. My monti cap is spreading from the rim, but underneath has some algae spots now. Do I need to do anything? Or give them time to recover? Should I frag the good parts?

I don't have experience here and would appreciate any advise from those that have. :)

I would have to say, with my limited but expanding knowledge of SPS I would try and target some more flow to both corals. This should help with the algae and bring more O2 too the corals.
