I have a one year old 75g tank, well established and taken care of, plenty of live rock, skimmer, everything good, so I want to add a new fish. I have 2 clownfish, together continuously-so I assume they are a mated pair-although they may be too young to mate, they are about 8mths old; I have a blue yellow tailed damsel, gets along great with the clownfish; and a pistol shrimp under the rocks who lost his goby friend about 4 mths ago. I have plenty of copepods and would prefer something reef safe, considering I have a couple zoas and mushrooms and would like to eventually add more corals also. I know I am limited on space, so what are some fish you guys find interesting and fun to own? Thanks so much for your opinions:)

wow, tank is a year old and only 3 fish and a shrimp, thats pretty cool IMHO

Whatever you do add now, may find themselves bullied initially by the fish that have had all this territory for themselves for so long
so choosing something thats able to look after itself would be a good idea IMO

    A 75 is a decent sized tank
so you might consider a Kole Tang - a new fish thats armed with a blade is not normally subject to much aggresion IME

Other fish that you might want to consider are

    6 line wrasse
    bi colour blenny
    Royal Gramma
Radient wrasse or Banana wrasse (these guys can hide where nothing can find them aside from maybe another wrasse)

its personal taste really, just bear in mind that if those clowns are a pair, they may not welcome newcomers to the tank

6line wrasse is a great idea. they have loads of personality and color. they arevery active, always cruising the rock work. my 6line is by far my wife's favorite fish. as much as she rolls her eyes at my reef obsession, when we go away for the weekend she's the first to the tank looking for Leonard.

I really like clown fairy wrasses!
How about a dwarf anhel like a bicolor cherub?
or even a group of jawfish, that would be awesome.
other than that I like kole tangs

of course this is my opinion

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I looked up the Kole Tang and they are beautiful. I also like the idea of the wrasse, so I guess it depends on what I can find. I looked up so much info (thanks esp. to 3reef for great advice) before starting my tank, and everywhere I looked, I was told to move very slowly, so that is why I only have 3 fish...lol. I have seen the jawfish at the store and they were so funny! I like them also, decisions, decisions....

There are pretty fish, then there are functional fish, then there are both. I like 6-lines because they are cool, and they are beneficial. They eat bad things. My Tangs are ornamental, but when I look at fish, I try to get functional ones too. Algae eater, bug eaters, sand sifter, cleaners. You get the point. 6 lines are cool. Tangs eat algae. Anthis are pretty. Not very functional, but very active and colorfull. My Anthias really brought all my other fish out more.
