Need a new pump for Coralife 220 skimmer

Hello everyone ,
I recently purchased a used / modded coralife super skimmer , the 220g needle wheel model. The pump was the original pump , but it was also modded.

Long story short , I destroyed the pump. :-X And I need a replacement pump to get it working again.

Should I just get the factory replacement part?
Or should I look at other skimmer pumps at increase the performance?

I was thinking it would be a better idea to get something that wasn't factory. Like a Octopus pump or something else.

The factory pump , if I bought it would probably need to be modded to perform well.
