Sorry to hear about your troubles Kacy.
I like my Bubble Magus NAC6. Easy to set and quiet.
    Is this for your 90?

Kacy, they are a bit more on the expensive side but I would say bubble king. They are the best out there but you must pay for it :-/
Bubble Magnus and deltec are very good also and compact little skimmers!

    Good luck :)

Might want to talk to CoralVue first and see what they can do for you. I just recently had some issues with the Bubble Blaster HY1000S pump in my SRO Skimmer. It started seizing up for some reason after a year and a half of use, also. Called up CoralVue - they asked for the pump to repair it ended up sending me a brand new one for the cost of 1 way shipping. Whole ordeal took a week and a half.

Sounds like most of your skimmer issues are related to the pump. Actually your issues sound very similar to what I had going wrong as well. If there's a problem with the pump internals, I don't think a new impeller will fix anything. Try seeing if they'll send you a replacement pump or fix the one you have. Much cheaper than buying a brand new skimmer. Reef Octo's are good skimmers - they should take care of you.

I'd recommend an Eshopps Cone skimmer Kacy. They're using Sicce pumps now.
Mine is absolutely quiet and works like a champ.

    Yep, for the 90!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll try contacting CoralVue about it and see if we get anywhere. They were not helpful last time and they didn't seem to care about my issues or getting the impeller to me in a timely fashion. But I'll try again and see what they say.

I really don't want to buy one, I've had some major expenses recently, and some in the near future...but I'm so fed up I just want a new one!

You may also want to check out the Aquamaxx line. I'm very happy with mine. They're hard to beat in the sense of bang-for-the-buck. It's actually the old Warner Marine line, just re-branded.

How about the Super Reef Octopus 2000 :) the bubble blaster pumps are an improvement from the old style pumps. I have the 3000 on my 150 and love it.
