Need a protein skimmer ? Mine sucks

    hey everyone i got a 150 gallon tank with about 100 pound of live rock i currenty have a red sea c-skim 1800 protein skimmer which i hate with a passion. The tank has got alot of frags and 5 green cromes powder brown tang, naso tang,scropas tang, and maroon clown. Really need help finding a good protein skimmer and suggestion would be wonderful i will post some pictures tommorrow thank you in advance looking to spend around 300 dollars at most if i can but will spend more if i have to ​

    does anyone have any suggestion on what series of octopus protein skimmer is better then other ?????

    got a other problem

    first off i just want to thank you to everyone for taking there time to help me. I been looking at all the protein skimmer you guys told me to look at. The problem is when i made my cabinet total height i kept was 23 inches and all these protein skimmer are 23 inches tall. I did find a protein skimmer that will work and i just wanted to get your guys oppion on it AquaC EV-180 Protein Skimmer With Mag-Drive 7 Pump this will fit righ in my sump with inch and half to spear :-/:confused:
