Need a second opinion. Is my Anthelia the blue kind? (pictures)

    I have anthelia and I visited a friedn of mine who has anthelia in his tank too, but his looked waaaayyy more peachy tan colored than mine. Do I have blue anthelia? I think it is, just want to amke sure. This piece was givin to me when it was just a few small polyps. How common is it to find blue anthelia?

    Looks like the average tan/grey waving hand to me. IMO the blue you are seeing is reflection of the blue light over the aquarium and not fluorescence from the coral.

    Can you show us a photo of the same coral under whiter light?

    It still looks more blueish purple to me than the normal anthelia... I dunno... what do you think?

    It's just the normal waving hand. I have some that looks just like it.

    The stems are the give away. There's no blue in them. Even in the variant that has the peach stem the polyp head is unmistakingly blue/green.

    Still a cool coral though.
