Every time I go to my lfs to buy a fish I can never decide on what to get. I currently have 2 Chromis, 2 Ocelaris, and a Blonde Naso Tang. I have a 90 gallon mixed reef. I just never know what to get or what would work in my tank. I saw a nice Powder Blue Tang but didn't think it would work out to well with the Naso. So any advice on fish would be greatly appreciated.

PS I know the Naso should really be in a bigger aquarium but he's still quiet small yet.

Does it need to be reef safe? That would narrow things down a little.

Well, judging by your tank size, you could get an eel,
Spotted Grouper , Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Blue Girdled Angelfish , or Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Niger Triggerfish if you want something big, be careful though, chromis will be killed by predatory fish, or you could go with some smaller wrasses (cool to have a collection;D).

Last time I was at the lfs they had a juvenile emporer angel fish that looked amazing(those get to big for a 90 right and arent reef safe correct?), but they also had one of those fish that have the same coloration but different pattern. Would that be safe in my tank?

Scarlet Hawkfish. Won't get too big should worl well with your current fish and is reef safe plus they have tons of personality.

Always check whether they are reefsafe. The McCosker Wrasse or Hawaiian Wrasse are my first choice but I am also planning on getting a Powder Blue Tang. I would not recommend a trigger... although I love their personality!

Would a powder blue tang and naso get along? they always say don't get a similar looking tang but I'm not sure what that means.

I wouldn't risk another tang. You're already going to have to fish the Naso out at one point when it outgrows your tank. JMO

I would look at the wrasses, flasher and fairy wrasses specifically if you like reef-safe and colorful fish where most of them are good peaceful fish, and if you like fish that are out and swimming around a lot.
