Ok. I am seriously fed up with my maxijett 1200s. My tank is literally COVERED with millions and millions of microbubbles, and the higer i turn up the powerhead, the more comes out, and i refuse, to stand to have this much bubbles in my tank, especially since it looks bad, and i think it would irritate the fish and corals down the line.

So what kind of Koralia's would i need to get for my 46 bowfront? For corals i plan to keep mainly softies and lps, and eventually sps.

You don't have the airline tubes hooked up do you?

For your tank, I would go with 3 koralia 1's, or two koralia 2's. You are running HOB equipment correct?

    I'd go with a vortech mp20 on a 46

External motor for no heat transfer, low wattage, no cords dangling in tank, and one on one end would do the trick for the entire tank. Very very low profile inside the tank.

I would have to definitely say NO to the 3's ;) WAY too much direct current for that small of a tank. If you want, PM psiclone. He had a pair of 3's literally rip apart his 55. So they are now in my tank, lol.

FWIW I had a trio of K1's in my 40 and it was plenty of flow, enough to keep all the sps happy.
