You do however get what you pay for. If I had it to do over again, I would use a pair of them on my 75. My next tank will use Vortechs.

yea i deffienentley would not want to spend 300 on a powerhead, that's a whole $50 more than my skimmer, and i still need to save for my light :D

You need to remove those black tubes completely. That is what is causing the bubbles.
Maybe she doesn't need new powerheads at all ;)

only worry, does 3 of them take up a lot of space? and i'm also worried about running out of room for plugs, my current extension cord is full, and i have another one already full from my puffers tank, and i think my light alone is going to have 2 plugs, lol i don't know how i'm going to be able to plug everything in without blowing out something

don't we need the black tubes to adjust the flow? i tried playing around with the air valve, and as soon as i took the air valve off just to see, boy did all hell breake loose with the bubbles

Make sure the powerhead is submerged completely. You do not need any air valves or hoses on them.

No. The tubes do not adjust flow. They adjust the amount of air being mixed into the flow.
Remove the tubes and they will suck water instead of air ;)
If you want, throw the tubes under water. See if the bubbles stop after a little bit ;)
