Need Advice On Koralia Powerheads

    Remove the black tube completely. There should be a little white or clear cap that inserts into the hole (was in the packaging for the pump). That hose and valve only adjusts the amount of air drawn into the water stream. Has no effect on water output of the pump.

    I would doubt you do. Just keep them under water, they won't suck air if they're under water, just more water, and no bubbles. Edit, looks like pack took care of explaining that already. lol

    well i just took them off and you guys were right! no microbubbles. So now the only thing prouducing the bubbles is the outtake tube of my skimmer, so that's another thing that i would like to try to fix.

    Thanks for the help guys, you deffienently save me some money. Karma to all :D I guess i'll start another thread for my skimmer now on those microbubbles :D

    does it have to have the little cap where the holes are? i set the powerheads up 6 weeks ago, and not sure where i have the box, i know i still have it somewhere

    No, you can take the white cap off, it wont hurt anything.

    me too lol so now all i have to do is get my credit card back down, and get myself a refractometer, some more test kits, and eventually my light :D hopefully by then i will also be finally able to have some fishies! Can't believe how fast it's gone by

    For the price ill take a number or ks over them, hydors are very well made and great bang for the buck
