Need advice on refung

    I have a 200 gal tank i am wanting to move my 125 salt set up into but I need some advise on filtration I am currently running a wet dry with bio balls and a protine skimmer..... I would like to make a Refungium and would like to incooperate an area for my skimmer and bio balls..... I have a 40 gallon breeder tank will this be big enough????and any suggestions on how to set up

    for a 200 gallon DT - you will want a larger sump. Also - IMHO - unless you actually enjoy the extra maintenance or have your heart set on them - I would ditch the bioballs for liverock - if you feel you need the extra bacterial filtration. Bioballs need so much cleaning to work that they often become a nuisance nitrate factory due to improper maintenance.

    I would go with at least a 60 gallon breeder type tank. The largest size tank you can afford/fit under your DT should be the sump.
