I messed around with several aquascaping adjustments las night and have two issues this morning. One is that my return dump back into display tank is pushing a fine bubble mixture causing micro fine bubbles. Two i have more water in my display tank than normal and less in my Sump/Fuge. Anyone with a clue on these issues????? Thanx! :-/

I actually cleaned my vents on my HOB overflow tubes last night with a toothbrush. The only other thing that I have noticed lately is that the two overflow tubes bent over into the box are getting large air bubbles in the bend near the top. The odd thing is that the fine micro bubbles are coming from the opposite side of the tank from my Closed loop pump Little Giant)???? since I cleaned the cone shaped vent intake pieces could it be that I have more than enough flow causing the fine bubbles?????

I've been constantly fighting the air bubbles in the U tubes....is there anything I can do to stop the air trap?

you can increase your flow to the sump. or get smaller diameter utubes so the water pushes through faster.

Make sure your overflow box didn't get bumped while messing with it too. That could be the reason for the high/low water.

Will try the smaller U tubes. I currently use two 1" tubes where as I used to run three 1" tubes. Going from 3 doen to 2 helped but when I tried only one my tank filled and the sump dropped to low. It's a balancing act and I'll have to epirement.

I have the same problem with the constant bubble in the overflow U tube. it's Extremely annoying, cause no matter what I do I keeps coming back and builds and builds and slows the flow down significantly.

I wish I knew how to put an end to that.

Check new thread. There has got to be some way to beat this problem.
