You seem to have a pretty good grasp on things for right now. I agree with geekdafied , you are wasting your time with those pc's . If you have the room for another light throw another t-5 fixture on there . Just put everything new on the bottom and work it up over the course of a week or two. How is your tank with heat issues? I remeber when I first started out several years ago I had one of those corallife aqualight fixtures and I did't buy the leg mounts for them, just sat it on tank like you. I had such a heat issue with those pc's so close to the water. Imo buy some leg brackets and get them up to at least 6 inches off water surface. You will also help with ventilation, gas exchange, etc. By the way your rockwork aquascaping is absolutly beautiful.:clapping:

yeah thats proly a good idea about just another t5 2 light strip. then i can use the pc for my new fuge. not installed yet. and yes the pc does get very hot. but i blow a fan across the top . the only reason i ahve it up there is just cause i have it and its only like 6 months old, lol i started saltwater 10 months ago, with a 40gal corner lets just say i got addicticed and upgraded my whole setup like 7-8 months in.transfered every thing to the 60 with out a single spike in levels, corals and everything never even were fazed. did the whole change in like 5 hrs. thats why i feel the need to use it cause its still new.:-/

sorry this post has been alot of my blabbaling.

oh yeah phoenix def get a torch if you got some room for it. its my fav coral. very easy going as far as its spot in the tank.and looks amazing in the current. but the sweepers can get very very long when they want them to. mine hardly ever sends them out. seen them like 2 times total. and that was more when a huge green leather moved in next door, but he couldnt reach it and gave up.lol

thanks at least some one enjoys my babbaling.haha
