Need Advice Return pump

    Ok guys i have a 220 DT looking for a new return pump , needs to be submersable, i have a MAG 12 now (i think) looking for something with more flow , and suggestions ?

    I would replace the current pump with another that gives the same flow and add circulation pumps to the tank. You will use a lot less energy with the circulation pumps and add less heat to the system. The high wattage used in return pumps create a great deal of heat.

    Just out of curiosity, Why do you need more flow?

    Sumps do not need that much flow. If you have a lot of head loss then its different. But if you want more flow in the tank you should be looking into getting powerheads inside the tank. JMHO

    ok i think that was what i was trying to achieve with this post , i need more flow IN the tank , i have 2 koralia 4's and i have quite a few dead spots, i cant jump to the mp40 but need to figure out what i can do.

    More Koralias should do the trick.

    If money is an obstacle(always is), try this:

    This Pump

    with This Propeller Upgrade

    Those have tons of flow and should be cheaper than a Koralia with similar GPH.
