need advice

    My hubby has the rio nano skimmer which has a compartment to place their carbon inserts...u know the type I mean. Well the replacement inserts are very hard to find, could I place some carbon in a bag and put it in the compartment or do you think this would cause any problems?

    You should be fine with any type of carbon in a bag.
