need advice ...

I currently have a 125 gal fowlr tank and was given a 180 reef ready and I have decided to move everything to the 180 and add corals to the mix.... here is where the problem lies... I have a queen angel that I have had for a couple years but I have read that they are not good to keep with corals??? Does anyone have and experience with this and have any good advice.

 

I don't have any experience with them,but i don't believe they are "coral" safe

 

A friend of mine has one but it only has a taste for zoas.

 

It's definitely a risk, personally I wouldn't risk it, with valuable corals.

its definitely worth a shot, I'm trying out an emperor in my 180 softie / LPS / RBTA tank. just make sure you steer clear of zoas, clams, open brains, acans, and any other non - stinging LPS.

++1 The Best option IMO is Blackraven's. You try drilling one 10g first if no problems then move onto the second if it breaks then you go on craigslist and pick another one up cheap. Then you may need to go with a small Rio pump to move water from the fuge tank to the return/skimmer. But the Fuge in one and the Return & Skimmer in the other is the best set-up with the plumbing as Black raven said IMO.
