need alittle help

    this is what my sump/refug look like. it has brown algae all over it any idea on how to get it back under control

    i use distilled water and my par seems to be ok

    let it grow in the sump, all its doing is eating organic wastes :p

    Probably from the lights, but where it is isnt of much importance :D

    agreed the sump is for that kind of thing it will compete for nitrate and waste its good

    looks like diatoms they will go away at some point and you should consider a ro/di they are well worth the money go to buckeyefieldsuppy.com they are cheap and high quality
