Need an ID on a damsel

    Pics were taken at night... I'll take some in the daytime tomorrow. I'm thinking this is a yellowtail black damsel? Notice how the yellow only covers the inner part of the tail and a little on the outer edges/dorsal fin tip..not the entire tail. Any suggestions?

    Hard to see the fish very clearly in the photo - maybe what you wrote. Google Neopomacentrus violascens and see what you think.

    Try to post a better pic of it and if noone gets it by tommorow I will look it up for you. I am too tired right now.;) There are ALOT of damsels.;D
