    All the knowledgeable people about reefs on this site, and no one knows what algae this is? Some has to be able to tell me what this is. Thanks

    well, i don't know what type of algae that is but i can tell you it doesn't look like something i would want in my reef, good luck with it.

    looks like bleached hair algae, get some mexican turbo snails

    I can get you a scientific name later, emerald crabs eat it it. Name slips me now, pm me tomorrow when I am around my field guides and I will get you a positive id, I think I even know the page number.
