    Digitate hydroids are typically harmless (unlike colonial hydroids).

    Other things that look very similar and act very similar are;

    some spaghetti worms.....harmless
    Some species of benthic (they don't swim, they stay attached to rock or sand) comb jellies (ctenophore)......also harmless

    look at that artist. LOL but yes thats what it looks like. Missions pic looks just like it. I have so many I cant even count them.

    Does anyone know how to get rid of them just in case they are bad. Some say harmless and some say bad.

    i would leave them unless you actually notice them affecting something, mine actually colonize over the majority of my GSP and the polyps look great.
