I know a lot of people in the Bay Area have used it in their tanks...I've used it on two tanks myself. Here's a local tank that was recently set up using the stuff.


Putty needs rods to make the structure sound...with the hydraulic cement, nor rods needed, at least I never used them. I just get the rock into position, and spackle it in the joint...

 

My style with my 90 has always been to wrap a wall around the overflow.
