    hey i have a friend who has a diamond drill bit sized 1-3/8 in in dia. what size bulk head would i need?

    i made a DIY overflow box and just need to drill my tank and i can be on my way to making a sump/refugium and upgrading!

    you would need a 3/4 inch bulk head

    If you go to a site like this link and look at the bulk heads, they'll usually tell you what the installation hole size is in the details.
