    Hey guys,

I bougght a huge piece of rock and 2 clown fish about 5 days ago. The clownfish are really tiny, they are homebred False Percula, about 3-4 weeks old I'm guessing.

A few days ago, I was looking at the rock, and noticed that there are about 3 Brittlestars, about 1-2 inches in length coming out of the rock. The guy at the fish store never saw them when he handed me the rock, and they were out of the water in a bag for about 30 mns, on my way home.

Should I be worried that they will eat my clown fish? Should I take them out, and if so, how? They are kinda tricky to see, much less get.
They are the green and blackish stripped ones.

If anyone has any expert knowledge on this, please let me know of what I should do.

My Parameters are all fine. 30 Gallon tank set up about 2 months ago. Both the clowns are doing fine. Protein skimmer but no coral/anemone.

    Thanks!

Lets see if someone else has an opinion about them.
I have never had a brittle star on my rocks that ever did anything to other inhabitants. They pretty much stay in the rocks then when you feed the stick there arms out and get food

Alright thanks, just hope he doesnt get huge, actually hope all 3 of them dont get huge, because 30 gallons is not enough for 1 much less 3.

I've never had a problem with mine. When I first found it, it was about the size of a quarter. Now it's grown to about 4-5 in across. It stays in the rock all day. I had another one that was about half the size and decided just to give it away.

I had a large green one in my 190G and never had a problem.
It was very large, it would reach from the bottom of the tank all the way
to the top... I would feed it silversides

    just my 2 cents
