Yesterday I rearranged my live rock and made the common rock wall, after doing this I was told I need a powerhead to blow stuff out from behind the rocks and to avoid getting "dead spots". So now I need help deiciding what size, what kind and wear to put it. Any help would be great, Thanks

I currently a 55 gallon Aqueon filter in my tank and that creates a lot of flow, sometimes I wonder it its so much flow. Is adding a power head even a good idea?

If your tank is far enough off the house's interior wall I'd move the rock away from the tank wall abit so you can clean it first off. Next for flow you need to ask yourself what kind of marine environment do I want? SPS, Mixed, Softies or FOWLR only. Either way you could start with 2 Koralia 425 in the lower back corners facing each other to blow behind the rocks. Then I would go with 2 Koralia 750 high on the sides facing each other for overall movement. This would give you about 50 x DT you would be able to keep anything. There're always deals on these new Koralia Evos so you could get all 4 for less than $150 or buy them one at a time if your cash strapped but start with the two small ones first. It is important to keep behind the rock clean from the start. HTH;)

I had an aquaclear 70 and 30 on a 15 gallon tank and even that was not too much flow, I have a maxi-jet 400 on my 10 gallon and a aquaclear 30 and again not too much flow, maxi-jet's are great and not expensive, you could spend more and get something that's adjustable. Koralia's are nice and not too expensive, my maxi-jet was only $20.

I ended up buying a maxi jet 900, so far it works great. My tank is really cloudy but i guess thats expected when you have a current blowing over rocks that have just been sitting there. I guess we will see if any food gets back there, Thanks so much!
