I have a t5 ballast that can run 2-f28t5 or 2-f21t5 or 2-f36t5. I dont think this as a HO ballast. I have a 24in single t8 fixture I want to upgrade to 2 t5 lamps but dont know any thing about bulbs. What combo of lamps should I plan on using? Is this a HO Ballast? Will this ballast even work at all? I have a 26gal bow front that is 24in wide, 20in tall, and 15in wide at the center of the bowfront.

    Any help would be great.

The bulbs would have to be shorter than 24in like a 22in or smaller.

The ballast I have is not made for a aquarium but I thought it should work. Its a Accustart 5 #b228punv-c. I looked up the specs on it and it will run lots of different lamp sizes. What i want to do is retro fits a single t8 light I have, I only has like a 18in t8 in it. I would like to put 2 t5s in there. I fixture is only 24 long. Just want to get the best combo of bulbs I can now for later when I start getting corals.
