need help finding cheap ls and lr asap

    trying to get my new tank up and running i have a 120 gal display and have a 29 gallon sump/fuge i still need a protien skimmer that works but wont cost me an arm or leg i plan on making most of my live rock any ideas on how to get live sand for cheap any ideas are wolcome i know i still have some more work involved to get it going but at least i can get started on the basics

    dont get live sand. go to country max if your in ny, you can get a 30lb bag for $18.

    Also with that size of a tank I would upgrade your refuge to a 55 gallon if possible. gives you more of a safety cushion if th even something were to happen (like your power going out)

    i would also check craigslist for used equipment

    I would check out craigslist for everything. I actually used play sand when I upgraded to my 40 breeder recently with no problems. I just rinsed it out really good before using it. I did put some live sand on top of it to seed it.

    get some sand from Marcorocks. really good quality and cheap/quick delivery

    skimmer? I have a coralife and an eshopps and both work well and were cheap
