    just as an example , if your nitrates are 80 , a 15% water change will bring them down to 68. personally id just ride out your cycle. but to each their own.

    the fish store was trying to sell me products to speed it up! i know i have to wait it out which thats not a problem to me but do those products work??

    youve come this far mv. more than likely your cycle will be comin to an end fairly soon. over the next few weeks, your high nitrate and ammonia levels will start dropping , and you will be at 0. patience will pay off good for you.

    i wouldnt bother with those products , waste of money imo.

    Not really. I mean I suppose ANY introduction to bacteria gets it STARTED faster but not necessarity DONE faster. Since you're already started and sounds like closing in on done, don't waste the money :D
