I stumbled upon this little guy hiding in a zoa frag colony. Kinda looks like a snail with the antenna and the way it moves but it doesn't have a shell. Can anybody tell me what this is?

    Zoanthid eating nudibranch.:-(

You will need to remove them and google images of the eggs so you can remove the eggs as well, and repeat and repeat....until gone.

    Good Luck

This coral has not been doing very well since being introduced, I thought it just wasn't happy with it's location in the tank but if this thing is making a meal of it do you think that it will perk up once removed?

My other 2 zoa colonies are both doing very well with a lot of growth so I was confused as to why this one wasn't.

The nudibranch is probably munching on it.

They may not have made it to the other frags yet. The nudibranchs usually look like the zoanthid they eat.

I would dip the frag and remove all nudibranchs and look for eggs.

What should I dip it in? Just Ro/di water?

    My pleasure.

Hopefully with the removal of the nudibrachs the zoanthid frag will turn around, dipping can't hurt.
