    sweet thanks ! the more I look, the more sponges I find, this one looks like it's the biggest though (about 2"x1.5")

    yep....they are pretty but don't ever squeeze one on accident while moving LR. Calcium carbonate spicules will get into your hand and drive you nuts for a week. Splinters are annoying. Having 30 splinters at once is maddening.
