I love my Maxspect Razor! The look nicer, preform better than the Reef Breeder and are reasonably priced.

Razor or RB will do, the Radion Pro is a nice but pricey fixture.

I've had my 24" photon from reef breeders for a few months & it works great. Awesome colors & controllability.

Perform better? What are you basing this off of? Look nicer? Although I agree, that's a matter of opinion. The rb photon is a handsome light. I am curious about the "perform better" comment.

ok guys thx for opinions; basically my friend has decided on getting two 32 inch photon series for his tank; any opinions on the optics/lens; his tank is soft and lps dominate with maybe a couple of sps. the tank is 2ft tall, and the light will probably one foot off the surface of water.
    thx in advance

Peoples opinions will almost always drift towards the fixture they have purchased so I think the comment isn't technically accurate. To be perfectly honest the two lights are actually quite similiar and on even playing grounds in terms of function and technical specs. The reef breeders does give an additional channel of control over the Razor(the third channel controls extra moon lights) and a few more time points to set. Both offer a great spectrum that can be fine tuned to the end users preference.
