I have a 55 gallon tank (wish I would have gotten the 75) well the stand for my tank is extremely thin. Right now I have a 10 gallon in there, 25 micron bag, coral life skimmer, heater, and via aqua return pump. Unfortunately I can only fit the 10 gallon tank in there snuggly however I should be able to add in another 10 gallon tank next to it. Should I look into replacing a side glass of each tank with acrylic from HD so I can drill a hole or should I just attempt to drill the holes for bulkheads in possibly connecting the 2. I don't have the slightest clue.

I have the exact same problem with my 90 gal. I drilled 2" holes in the bottom corner of two ten gallon tanks and connected them up. Only way i could find a system that would work. Wife said no tanks next to the MT so that was pretty much my only choice :( I suggest trying this, maybe even with a taller tank (15H gallon ?? ) 20 gal isnt enough for me IMHO

did you drill regular 10 gallon (glass) tanks? I have a 20 gallon but it just won't fit under any which way unless I wait until I move in about 2 months and see if I can make it fit through the back but doubt that also. If not possibly on the side
