    do you have readings for the 50 gallons of water prior adding them to your current setup?

    unless the values were insanely high in the 50 gallon it would have been diluted with the 100 fresh ones. was the sand bed disturbed at all?

    Only when it was moved, I put it inside buckets and then put it back..

    thats where i would point the finger then.

    im assuming this is the first test you've done since the time you set your system up 2 weeks ago correct?

    Unless you had 0 Ca+ in the donor tank then, I'd retest the Ca+, and make sure you do all the steps correctly. Ca+ of 100 seems impossible.

    Alright.. So on Friday I put back in a few powerheads and flow enhancer back into tank (they were out for a few days being cleaned)

    These are the new results as of this evening... I am going to bring some water to a local LFS here in Los Angeles tomorrow to see if they get the same readings..

    Ammonio - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Phosphate - 1.0
    Nitrate - 0
    Kh - 140
    Carbonate - 196.9
