Need help. My small hippo tang is dying.

Yes you can. It is reef safe. It changes your waters surface tension and it caused you skimmer to go crazy with bubbles. You treat for 7 days then water change. then continue. It works for sores and fin rot and all kinds of things. you can read about it on the bottle.

 

if the tang is eating u need to get it some good food. brine shrimp isnt doing anything. My hippo went thru what u are describing when i moved her from a 90 to a 250. I used spectrum pellets, soaked food in selcon, vitachem, garlic, my tank was grounded and i fed mysis. My hippo is fine now, they are tough if u give them the proper diet and ammo to fight it off.

Any update on the little guy?

 

He did not make it He was strong up to today. I found him stuck onto my koralia fan this morning and he is now dead and in a plastic cup pending a humane way to dispose of his body. Thank you for all your helpful advices. I think he was too sick to recover even with the treatment implemented last week.
