thats good you may want to find out how aggresive each fish is and add them in order of least aggresion to most aggretion and space out the time periods of when you put the new fish in

i think the clownfish maybe the most aggressive out of everybody. I think i'll get the hawk fish last, because somewhere said to put them in last, but i forget why, i don't think their that aggressive

If you get a flame hawk, you probably wont be able to get any ornamental shrimp. Most of them will become food later on when the hawk grows up. Just something to keep in mind ;)
As for blennies, the bi-color can be a coral nipper. The midas will not bother corals.
An algae blenny has no business being in a tank as small as yours, that's a poor recommendation IMHO.

ok, i have no worries about shrimp, i just won't get any. And if i don't/can't get a blenny i wont. What i might do is just stick with the 4 fish, for a while, the wrasse, clownfish, and hawk, that way if down the line i want to add another small fish i can.

i had thoughts about putting the clownfish in first, that way if my tank still experiences swings, they should be able to handle it, i really like the looks of the wrasse, and don't want it to die first thing if it's not as hardy as the clownfish

I strongly agree with a thread earlier about the Hawk fish being agressive to shrimp. Cleaner or Red Blood Shrimp serve a tremendous help to the wellfare of your fish. They are nocturnal and scavage for dead food and dead fish. They will completely devour the entire fish and not leave a bone. In a reef it's quite difficult to capture things that get into the rocks so these shrimp are invaluable. They also eat ich and parasites off the fish. Sometimes I'll see a slight outbreak of ich on a fish and watch him go to the cleaning station and zip zip it's gone. They nip it in the bud. Read up on fish before you make a bad mistake. There are fish out there that are for fish only tanks. There are fish and shrimp designed for the reef tank. When I started reef tanks I found this web page very helpful.
Reef Keeping 101 It's good reading for beginners. Good luck! :cheesy:

I have had two blood shrimp and one cleaner shrimp in the tank with my flamehawk-maybe mines stupid;D

I know just because you read it, that it is not for certain and statisticlly speaking they may eat shrimp.

I nueterted mine so its docile-LOL

If you ever want to get shrimp maybe it wouldn't be the right fish-again I've had zero issues and I did read you are not interested in shrimp-they are cool and I have 3:confused:
