    ok :) and yea i don't really pay atttention to the gph, part, still don't really know that part. So i'll look at what you suggested then

    It will cost you about 30 bucks to do the mod. The mod comes with both propellers, 1600 and 2100gph. Its very easy to install, and you can also get the magnet kit for it! It turns the maxi into a korialla look a like with much more power

    Hey there. I'm assuming this checklist in preparation to go reef from FOWLR?

    I'd consider a reactor, like the one from Two Little Fishes. It's less than 50 bucks, and will make running your carbon and phosphate reducing media worlds more effective than placing them in a bag in your sump.
