need help on shrimp

I wish I've read your thread earlier. I just lost a large fireshrimp to two small murderous pepermints! I never imagined that these shy little shrimp would team up on a big guy like that. I was at work and my roomate called me all distressed saying that thw two peppermints seemed to be fighting with the fireshrimp. I had to sit at work while these outlaws were killing it. By the time he got around to fishing him out it was too late. Should I take them out of the tank before they pulverize my tiny sexy shrimp, or is this a species specific aggression?

 

well I don't know if I should get more fire shrimp or wait tell I get the other one out?
