    Did you try the halides? Just curious because when coupled with a premium reflector, the efficiency of the Iwasaki 15k is nearly that of many LED units on the market.

    No I never did..I really wanted to but my ballast was/has been acting up..its and old no name china ebay knock off double ballast..so between having to get two new good ballast and two new bulbs. Price was up there..but what made me go to leds(for now) was the heat issue I have in the summer here..and. no place/cash for a chiller....BUT. I will keep those in mind if I don't like the leds..they had great reviews and growth from what I have seen/read..
